At Hunting Equipment Shop, we stand behind the quality of our professional hunting gear. We understand that sometimes equipment needs to be returned or exchanged, and we’ve created this straightforward policy to serve our community of serious hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

Our Return & Exchange Commitment

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. All items must be in original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact. For your safety and ours, certain specialized hunting equipment cannot be returned (see below).

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and safety regulations, the following hunting accessories cannot be returned:

  • Appâtage, odeurs et nourrisseurs (Baiting, scents and feeders)
  • Attractants (Attractants)
  • Appeaux (Game calls)
  • Appelants (Decoys)

Simple Return Process

Step 1: Request Authorization

Email our customer service at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Include the following information:

Step 2: Receive Instructions

Within 48 hours, we’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Returns without an RMA number cannot be processed.

Step 3: Package and Ship

Securely package your items in the original packaging and include all accessories. Affix the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package. Ship to:

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Step 4: Receive Refund or Exchange

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5 business days):

  • Refunds: Will be issued to your original payment method within 3-5 business days after approval. PayPal refunds may appear immediately, while credit card refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles.
  • Exchanges: We’ll ship your replacement item within 2 business days using your preferred shipping method.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive damaged or defective hunting equipment:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected]
  2. Include photos of the damage/defect and packaging
  3. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and expedite your replacement

Hunting Season Notice

During peak hunting seasons (September-November), return processing may take an additional 2-3 business days due to high order volume. We appreciate your understanding as we work to serve all our hunting customers.

International Returns

For customers outside the U.S.:

  • You’re responsible for any customs fees or taxes on returned items
  • Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
